Federal Tax Credit

For your principal residence in the U.S., you can receive up to $500 for adding to your home’s insulation.

  • Tax credit is for the cost of the product only, not labor and installation costs.
  • Tax credit is 10 percent of the cost of the product up to $500 maximum.
  • Tax credits require a receipt that shows the cost of the product.
  • Tax credits for your qualifying purchase can be claimed on your federal tax return.
